PREP REQUIREMENTS
For optimum esthetics, provide the current shade of the existing tooth, preparation or stump shade along with the final desired shade of the restorations. Slight preparation of the protruding areas with a disc or fine diamond will facilitate in allowing the ideal facial alignment. Minimum Prep - 0.3 mm reduction.
RECOMMENDED CEMENTATION
Adhesive bonding material including:
- Variolink Veneer (Ivoclar Vivadent)
- Nexus 3 (Kerr)
- RelyX Veneer Cement (3M ESPE)
CEMENTATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Use pumice to clean tooth surface, rinse with water and dry.
- Etch tooth surface and clean with water and dry.
- Put adhesive bonding material on the tooth as well as the inside of the veneer.
- Cure with a curing light. Cure each tooth for at least 30 seconds.
- Clean off excess bonding material.
