Sculpture/FibreKor is an indirect hybrid composite indicated for inlays, onlays, veneers, and full coverage crowns. Sculpture/Fibrekor offers a strong, long-lasting restoration with excellent shading and vitality to match adjacent teeth.
PREP REQUIREMENTS
Prepare as you would an all-ceramic: rounded internal line angles, shoulder margins of at least 1.0 mm and an occlusal clearance of at least 1.5 - 2.0 mm.
RECOMMENDED CEMENTATION
All Sculpture/Fibrekor restorations should be cemented using silane and a dual-cure resin cement that matches the shade of the restoration. (VarioLink II, Ivoclar Vivadent; Nexus, Kerr)
Remove temporary and clean preparation with pumice. Try-in restoration and adjust if necessary. Acid-etch enamel and use current enamel/dentin bonding system. Sandblast internal surface of restoration and apply silane per manufacturer's instructions. Mix dual-cure cement and apply to internal surface of restoration evenly. To seat restoration, hold down with an instrument while the doctor/assistant uses floss to remove excess cement to reduce the finishing time. Then light-cure for 1 minute per surface and finish excess per finishing techniques listed above. |
